The film follows one year in the life of Eh Soe, a refugee and rebel soldier in Burma.

On the eve of sham elections in 2010 his people ready for war against a brutal regime.

However, as the date of their incursion draws closer he begins to fight his own internal battle between a need to see his new born daughter grow and a duty to his soldiers.

One year later, having run from the army he is forced to confront the consequences of his decision.

'Beyond Section 10' is a story of a people living in limbo and the universal issue of how children change us.
